This research is an attempt to specify the attributes in Port Said’s built-heritage, most particularly that which was founded towards the end of 19th and early of 20th centuries. The city’s development not only interacts with European and Islamic architectural characteristics but it also illustrates the story of this development within unique architectural styles. By accurate conservation policies, this built-heritage can not only be saved, but can also help to improve local residents’ quality of life.
